Really reccomend TheThai Terrace... Food was scrumptious so well presented, great portions.. Staff is friendly but just need to give us some space to breath and enjoy as they were checking literally every 2 minutes, sometimes less is more. Other than that really amazing.. It has a beautiful terrace you can see the town and the castle.

We discovered this fantastic restaurant today, right on top of Castle car park in Guildford. We hadn't booked, it was a spur of the moment thing but what an absolute delight. The restaurant itself is light, airy and tastefully decorated in a chic but understated way, with a cocktail lounge, main dining area and outside terrace that has stunning views over Guildford. It positively generated holiday vibes. We were there for lunch but will be back for an evening experience soon. The service was warm and welcoming from the start and not at all intrusive as we dined, which made for a much more pleasant experience. As for the food, it was delicious! We had the sharing platter of mixed starters followed by Pudd-Thai Kai noodles, Wok fried chicken in oyster sauce and sticky rice. Our bill was around 87 including drinks and service which given how tasty it all was and what a lovely all round experience we had, we thought was quite reasonable. We will definitely be back again.
Excellent first meal at the Thai Terrace. Service was fantastic, all the staff were lovely and we can’t wait to come back and see them again soon. The food was high quality, came quickly and was authentic. Would be epic in the summer, heard the cocktails are good too.
Really loved our visit to this restaurant. The food was very good, the staff were very friendly, the views were great and the atmosphere was good too. Both the Chicken Panang and Lamb Massaman curries were delicious. The cocktail menu is also very extensive with a good selection of tasty drinks. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will hopefully be back to try more dishes and cocktails
Amazing authentic Thai food. I’ve been here multiple times now and definitely recommend coming. Such a nice vibe and great for a date night. Will definitely come back over and over again
Really good place for Thai Food in Guildford. The menu variety was great, we enjoyed every dish we ordered (with an exception of coconut rice) - I mostly enjoyed Grilled Prawns
